Un Passo dal Cielo (One step from heaven) is an Italian television series, aired in Italy on Rai 1. It was the first television series produced and aired in HD on Rai HD.

The stunning shots at high altitude for the opening theme of the fiction "Un Passo dal Cielo 4" were filmed on Mount Lagazuoi.

Plot

The story is an intertwining of crime investigation, friendship and love with many unexpected turns. In the first three seasons of the television series, Terence Hill is commander of the State Forestry Corps in the Italian village of San Candido and Enrico Ianniello the local State Police commissioner. Starting from the fourth season, Hill was replaced by Daniele Liotti.

Curiosity

The "Bivouac Neri", home of the main character Francesco Neri, is located at the 5 Torri, next to the Scoiattoli Refuge. The building was built specifically for this TV series and dismantled after the shooting.
