The Lagazuoi ski slope

Before skiing down this magnificent ski piste on the slopes of Mt. Lagazuoi, take a break and admire the majestic panorama of the Dolomite peaks all around you, from the Tofana group to the Marmolada to the Sella group. The terrace of the Lagazuoi Refuge offers undoubtedly the best view.

It is a technically refined slope with frequent gradient changes and wide curves. At the start, the piste faces north, then east, thereafter south, then west and finally again south.
These frequent changes of direction and, consequently, of perspectives offer many different panoramic views.

This ski run offers not only scenic views, it also has great historical value: the slope crosses the front line on Mt. Lagazuoi during the First World War, the Austrian trenches on the ridge and where the panorama opens onto Col Gallina, on the Italian trenches.

The slope winds over a length of 2470 m with a difference in height of 635 m and returns in wide curves to the Falzarego Pass. From there, you can reach the other lifts and slopes of the Cortina Delicious area.

Thanks to the programmed snow-making system and the exceptional trail grooming, the descent is always in excellent condition.

The Lagazuoi area is part of the Dolomiti Superski ski carousel and is thus well-connected to the slopes of the adjacent valleys through ski buses and public transport. As well as on skis, reachable directly from Cortina d'Ampezzo simply by taking the Freccia nel Cielo cable car and then the new gondola lift Cortina Skyline!
