Access to the Falzarego Pass during the Men’s Alpine Ski World Cup

Traffic restrictions from Cortina to Pocol and in the area between the Giau and Falzarego passes

Cortina d'Ampezzo has drawn up a mobility plan for the dates 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th January 2023, aimed at guaranteeing safety and access to the competition area of the Men’s Alpine Ski World Cup.

The mobility plan provides for traffic restrictions with specific transit passes that can be requested by residents, second-home owners and local business owners at Fondazione Cortina.

  • On 28th and 29th January 2023, from 7:30 am to 10:30 am, and in any case until the end of the needs pertaining to the sports event, the circulation on the Dolomites' Regional Road 48 from the Cortina district Ponte Corona to Pocol is forbidden to all vehicles, except those having a transit pass.

Transit will always be guaranteed for emergency, public and essential service vehicles, even when the road is closed.
