The new via ferrata on Mount Sasso di Stria was built by two Alpini units who dedicated it to a hero of the Great War, Lieutenant Mario Fusetti.and his qquad of soldiers
On 18th October 2018 it was inaugurated with a solemn ceremony
This Via Ferrata is not only very interesting in terms of landscape and sporting challenge. Above all, it ihas a great historical-tactical value and hides a very special story.
On 12th August 2019 the Italian Alpine troops (Alpini) have fixed on the rock wall a commemorative plaque in memory of the hero of Mount Sasso di Stria. The ceremony was attended, among others, by the Gen. Claudio Mora, the Colonel Franco Del Favero, the board members Giuseppe Severini and Daniele Ravenna and the Captain Sergio Furlanetto.
