to the high mountains again this summer
- From 27th May to 18th June
"The pioneers' passion" is a groundbreaking and innovative photographic experiment by Stefano Zardini: starting from the family archive, he paid tribute in Pop Art style to the indomitable spirit of the Alpine communities that "invented" winter tourism and skiing at the beginning of the 20th century. Today, these monochrome images regenerated by Stefano Zardini's skilful graphic interventions, are an invitation to rediscover colours, energy and the craving for the future. Learn more >>>>>

Together with the #InstagramersItalia network, the EXPO Dolomiti presents an absolute novelty: an exhibition of the best of over 500 photos taken and published by Instagram users: "#lagazuoidarecord - Montagna che Passione-Mountains, what a passion" .The exhibition includes the best images of those who have participated in this initiative, launched in recent months by Lagazuoi EXPO Dolomiti and #InstagramersItalia. Lagazuoi Photo Awards - New Talents 2023 - from the artist residency to an exhibition: the three projects created by three selected students from the Accademia Carrara, the Istituto Italiano di Fotografia, and the Officine Fotografiche, who had the opportunity to undergo the unique experience of a five-day artistic residency on the summit of Mt. At 2,732 metres of altitude, you can visit the exhibition "Lagazuoi Winning Ideas Mountain Awards 2023 - The winning projects of the 4th edition", a competition created for the mountains as a place of innovation, exploring the creative and cultural potential of the highlands as a source of inspiration for different lifestyles. The exhibition centre Lagazuoi EXPO Dolomiti, situated at 2732 m a.s.l. between Cortina d'Ampezzo and Alta Badia, can be easily reached on one of the most spectacular cable cars in the Dolomites, departing from the Falzarego Pass on the Great Dolomites Road (SS 48).
- The exhibition rooms can be easily reached with the Lagazuoi cable car from the Falzarego pass
- They are open every day during the operating dates of the Lagazuoi cable car from 9 a.m. to 4.40 p.m.
- The visit to the exhibitions is free of charge
