ÖTZI and VALMO
When prehistoric man walked the Alps

2018_04_09_The extraordinary archaeological exhibition to inaugurate the new  Lagazuoi EXPO Dolomiti complex on the summit of  Mount Lagazuoi at an altitude of 2778 m ended yesterday:

From 10th January to 8th April 2018 people have been able to see for the first time in the same place the casts and reproductions of the region's two most significant archaeological finds - the first inhabitants of the Alps: Similaun Man and Mondeval Man, providing a rare glimpse of the life of  prehistoric man in the high mountain regions after the last great glacial era, in the exhibition titled  ÖTZI & VALMO – When prehistoric man walked the Alps.
