Inauguration of a path to the top for disabled people

The top of mount Lagazuoi now welcomes even wheelchair users!

Saturday, July 14th: inauguration of a wheelchair-friendly path leading up to the summit of Mount Lagazuoi.
Carried out by 400 Alpini of the ANA Treviso section, the restoration works have been ongoing for 20 years. 

The initiative is part of the commemoration program "Le Dolomiti ricordano" (The Dolomites remember) organized by the municipality of Cortina d'Ampezzo in collaboration with the Alpini of Cadore and Treviso sections and the Italian Alpine Troops Command to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. 

People with special needs have the same desire to travel, learn, discover and have fun as any other tourist.

With its accessible cable car, the exhibition centre Lagazuoi Expo Dolomiti, the Lagazuoi refuge and the new path to the top, Mt. Lagazuoi enable customers with special needs to enjoy the panorama of the Dolomites in a fulfilling way.
