Super8 Ski Tour

© Stefano Zardini

The Super8 Ski Tour winds its way around the mountains in the shape of an 8, offering breathtaking views of the most famous Dolomite peaks, such as the Tofana, Pelmo, Civetta, Marmolada, Fanes, Averau, 5 Torri and Conturines.

It crosses the three most fascinating mountain passes of the Dolomites: Forcella Averau, Croda Negra and Lagazuoi.

Along the foot of the magical Fanes highland, the Armentarola piste unfolds with its steep frozen icefalls. A highlight is the last part of the tour, where skiers are pulled through the snow by a horse-drawn tow.

In addition, this ski route offers refreshment in some of the most renowned mountain refuges in the Dolomites.

Take part and win!

Technical Data:

The Lagazuoi area is part of the ski carousel Dolomiti Superski and is thus well-connected to the slopes of the adjacent valleys through ski buses and public transport services and, on skis, through the new gondola lift Cortina Skyline connecting the Tofana and 5 Torri area, even directly from Cortina d'Ampezzo, simply taking the Freccia nel Cielo cable car!

Connections with the Cortina ski area

The 2-way Cortina Skyline gondola lift connects the ski areas to the right of Cortina d'Ampezzo: on the one side, Socrepes, Pocol and Tofana, and on the other side, 5 Torri, Averau, Falzarego and Lagazuoi. It runs from Son dei Prade (Pocol, at the bottom of the Tofana di Mezzo area) via the intermediate station Cianzopè to the Bai de Dones top station (at the bottom of the 5 Torri area), connecting these two areas with a 15-minute gondola ride. Now, skiers from Cortina can reach the 5 Torri, the Falzarego Pass and Mount Lagazuoi on skis by means of lift facilities and slopes. Even directly from Cortina d'Ampezzo, with the Freccia nel Cielo cable car.
